- Retweet (RT)

- When you call someone in your tweet by their handle e.g. @LibrarySouth
- Direct Message (DM)
- When you send someone a private message on Twitter but remember, this may not always remain private
- Hashtag (#)
- Groups your tweets by topics e.g. #makerspace #STREAM #hourofcode
- Followers
- People who are interested in what you have to say

Today's Projects:
Decide what image we should use as a header photo.
Decide what image we should use as a profile photo.
Choose a design template.
Write a twitter post that sums up today’s meeting that we can post before we leave.
Decide on a few hashtags you can use to connect with other makerspaces.
Let's Tweet during each meeting:
- Show off our work. Tweet pictures!
- Let’s show our parents/guardians what we are doing at each Club Innovation meeting
- Tweet what we are learning and how it relates to #STREAM
- Share fellow Innovators’ quotes. (Only use first names or just initials.)
- Use hashtags to connect to other Twitter handles of like interests For example: #makerspace #innovatenj #MakerEd #engineer
- Your take a-ways from each meeting. “What did you learn today, let’s tweet about it.”
- Project reminders.
- Things you find online that you want to share with other students/parents.
- Tweet to book authors. They will often tweet back.
- Give yourselves a public audience. Tweet project samples and ask for input.
